An Arizona K-8 teacher with eight years' experience teaching in Crane School District in Yuma, I will address reading comprehension and fluency, creative writing, math facts and math concepts for primary grade students in
Kinder through Sixth Grades, based on the needs of the student.
During my years as a teacher, I longed to have the time resources to help students one-on-one to meet their learning needs as they progressed toward meeting or exceeding the Arizona State Standards. I know how difficult this can be for classroom teachers, and especially now, with many program cutbacks and the loss of academic aides from our classrooms. A teacher's job will only be more challenging as they utilize every possible resource to help YOUR child succeed.
I look forward to working with you, with your child's teacher, and with your child to maximize his or her learning success! I will specialize in grades K-6 to provide personalized tutor services in Reading Fluency and Comprehension, Creative Writing, and Math Concepts; also preparation for Dibels, Terra Nova, and AIMS Tests.
